Tema: Os Orixás
Buscando referências de cada um dos orixás escolhidos, foram criadas ilustrações de Exú, Iansã, Oxóssi e Oxum. Buscou-se um estilo mais clean e cartoon, diferentemente das referências encontradas, procurando uma nova interpretação para estas personagens.
Na mitologia yoruba, orixás são divindades ou semideuses criados pelo deus supremo Olorun. Os orixás são guardiões dos elementos da natureza e representam todos os seus domínios no aye (a realidade física em que os humanos estão inseridos segundo a tradição iorubá).

Theme: The Orishas
Searching references for the orishas selected, I created illustrations for Exu, Iansã, Oxossi and Oxum. I tried to create a more clean and cartoonish style, unlike te references I've found, trying to create a new and different interpretation for these characters.
An Orisha is a spirit or deity that reflects one of the manifestations of Olodumare (God) in the Yoruba spiritual or religious system. Orishas are guardians of the elements of nature and represent all of its domains in aye( physical reality in wich humans are inserted, according to the yoruba's tradition).
